Which rise is right for you?
A 20mm riser bar keeps the front end lower for a more aggressive, weighted position. The 40mm rise lifts your hands for a more upright, confident stance on steep terrain. Both share the same geometry, so the feel stays familiar.

Which clamp diameter should I choose?
Choose 31.8 mm or 35.0 mm to match your stem. The GCS stem is available in both sizes.
20 mm or 40 mm rise?
Both share the same 800 mm width, 7° backsweep and 5° upsweep. Choose 40 mm if you want a higher front end, 20 mm for a lower, more aggressive position.
Can I cut the bar shorter?
Yes. GCS bars are 800mm wide and designed to be cut down. Marks on the bar help you trim them evenly to as narrow as 720mm. Measure twice, cut equal amounts from each side and use a proper bar-cutting guide.
Is it strong enough for downhill?
Yes. The GCS handlebar has passed EFBE TRI-TEST® GR certification for freeride and downhill.
