Just a few weeks ago, the PEMBREE team left the UK and flew to the U.S. to take part in their first-ever Sea Otter Classic. As you would expect, it was an exciting trip for the team, not only getting to experience Sea Otter firsthand, but also to spend some time in the USA.

With stories of mixed weather reports, we're happy to report that Phil and the team were treated to glorious sunshine throughout the event, which ensured a steady flow of excited and enthusiastic mountain bikers, all keen to learn more about our sustainable, UK-manufactured gravity products.

On display, we had the entire range of GCS components, including the GCS Performance grips, GCS stem, and GCS handlebar, along with our latest PEMBREE D3A pedals.
Of course, we had a full range of sizes and colours on show, and we even managed to arrange some exciting collaborations with Transition Bikes and Teewing Bikes to have newly launched bikes at our booth, built up with PEMBREE parts. 

We had some secret parts on display to, and if you look carefully enough at these photos, you might spot a sneak peek at an unreleased product were showing off.


The show started for us on Thursday with the infamous Media Day, which saw the majority of MTB and cycling media descend onto Sea Otter to check out the newest kit and releases. We enjoyed conversations with Pinkbike, The Loam Wolf, Off-road.cc, and Singletracks.com, and got some on-camera time with MTB-news.de, plus U.S.-based YouTuber Singletrack Sampler.

In addition to our range of gravity products, we also produced a limited-edition PEMBREE x Sea Otter T-shirt, which we gave away to a lucky few event-goers. But the highlight of the show had to be Friday, when Wyn Masters joined us for a few hours to meet fans and sign autographs!


Sea Otter 2026 was an amazing event, and we can’t wait to get back there in 2027. But if you want to join us earlier than that, then keep an eye on our socials and newsletter, as PEMBREE will be taking part at select UK events this year too!
